Wavis O’Shave
Surreal comedian and musician
South Shields surrealist Wavis O’Shave has performed under names including Foffo Spearjig. His unusual comic world crossed music, recordings and television.
On Channel 4’s The Tube he appeared as the Hard, a character associated with the catchphrase ‘I felt nowt’. The character brought his distinctive brand of surreal humour to a national television audience.
