Roslyn Renwick’s work spans poetry, live performance and fiction. In her own account, she describes organising poetry and folk clubs, performing stand-up poetry, and putting together evenings of sketches, poetry and acoustic music.

She is remembered as a poet and folk singer who worked with Billy Connolly and Jasper Carrott. Stories of those nights include women-only performances, alongside men-only nights where women dressed as men to get in. Her novel Endsong is the book pictured here.
