Brian Lewis
Comedian and actor
Brian Lewis was a North East comedian who became familiar to children’s television audiences through Super Gran. Alongside Alan Snell, he played one of the Scunner Campbell’s heavies, known in the credits as the Muscles.
His later acting roles drew on his comedy background: he played a club comedian in the Spender episode Double Jeopardy and a comedian in the Catherine Cookson adaptation The Round Tower.
