Paul Squire
Comedian and impressionist

Paul Squire was a prominent television entertainer for a brief period in the early 1980s, following talent-show success and the 1980 Royal Variety Performance. He had shows on both ITV and BBC One, including Paul Squire, Esq. in 1983.
His sudden familiarity became the subject of a joke in the final episode of The Young Ones. Looking back in a 2008 interview, Squire said that he had never sought fame or fortune and preferred to think of himself as an entertainer, or a ‘turn’.
