Ned Kelly

Ned Kelly built an adult comedy act around blue material and a particularly conspicuous entrance: contemporary press reported that he began his performance naked. His show reached home-video audiences with the 1992 VHS release Red Raw and Blue.

He is remembered for years of sell-out shows, with publicity that called him ‘Britain’s bluest comedian’ and ‘the Sport’s second favourite comedian’. Those labels were part of the act’s deliberately outrageous billing.
