Durham Revue

Founded at Durham University in 1974, the Durham Revue became a starting point for performers who went on to careers in comedy and broadcasting. Its alumni include Nish Kumar, Jeremy Vine, Ed Gamble and Arthur Bostrom.

Bostrom later became familiar to television audiences as the police officer in ’Allo ’Allo!, one of the many routes from the university sketch troupe to a wider audience.
