Alice Maydue

Alice Maydue was a Victorian music-hall singer and comic performer whose repertoire included The Stowaway. Theatre bills and song histories preserve her name among the entertainers of the period.

She is remembered as Alnwick-born and Elswick-raised, with a lively, risqué act combining singing, dancing and serio-comic performance.
